- Calvinism is what caused capitalism! Each one of you is predetermined by God to whether you go to heaven and hell even before you are born...there is nothing you can do about it.
- SELF-DENIAL
- I don't need to spend my money on a big house!
- In order to know if you are one of the elect you will have more wealth which will show you have worked harder then others. God favours good work and Calvinists want to favour God.
- Rich but not a Calvanist
- I am God you are going to hell if you don't change your ways and work hard!!!
- Webers theory introduced the fact that money should only be spent on beneficial things to ones self. This man has only ever spent money on pointless items and is now left with nothing. God will think he has placed no effort in his life.
- CAPITALISM
- The world is now a capitalist society due to calvinism
- Ascetism is the idea of having self denial. Proving yourself to have a worthy place in heaven means turning down unnecessary items even if you have the money to spend them. This woman is proving to God that she is a chosen one.
- Just because you have money doesn't mean you automatically have a place in heaven. Entertainment is not important for calvanists
- I am going to spend all my money on desirable items like big cars.
- The idea of Calvinism has spread since the 17th century across many culture. The traits are workers who are industrious- THE SPIRIT OF CAPITALISM
