- The Declaration of The Rights of Man and of the Citizen happened in 1789. This document gave rights to man at this time. These rights are natural rights which were super important at this time. This was to protect individual rights of the people. This was also a way to announce the creation of a new country.
- I want Life, Liberty, and Property! I want rights!
- The Reign Of Terror was a huge act of violence in the French Revolution. There were tons of mass killings using the guillotine. All of these killings were public. This started because of Public Safety. They would convict many of treason and there was to be nothing bad said or talked about or you could be killed next. This happened between 1793 and 1794.
- Kill them all
- The rise of Napoleon happened quickly. He rose through the ranks during the French Revolutionary war. This happened 1789-1799. He then seized political power in France in 1799 and in 1804 crowned himself the emperor.
