  • Ok so let’s get learning! So we all have smartphones, computers and other technological devices but more and more options are becoming available each one supposedly better than the next so when a new smartphone does drop and you're looking to buy one what happens to all your old ones. As technology improves and products are being released all the time more waste is also being produced, does anyone know how much technology is thrown away? Well the answer is 9.4 MILLION I know right that’s a lot! And if all of this is not disposed of properly it will harm the environment. Let's take a closer look by going into our explain room! Take it away blueberry
  • So let's take your phone for example what happens when you throw that away? Well it will probably end up in a landfill or a dump, where ring water is likely to get to it extracting all the toxic materials off of the phone and that polluted water will then be leaked into none other than OUR waterways imagine that! So next time don’t throw your devices away, think about passing them on or donating them to people who might not have a chance to buy the latest devices.
