- Today, President Rodrigo Duterte announced the suspension of all travel by land, sea, and air to and from Metro Manila over concerns from the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak the restrictions will take effect as of Sunday, March 15 until at least April 14.
- BREAKING NEWS!
- Maring look! It was alarming because Philippines will be in lockdown in March 15, what are we going to do now?
- You’re right Kulas, I’m thinking about going at the grocery store to buy some necessary stuff that we will use during lockdown.
- Yeah! They're hoarding those to sell the alcohol and face masks in a higher price.
- That's too much...
- Oh my gosh! That cart grab all the stocks of alcohol and face masks! There's no more left in that stall!
- At the Grocery Store.
- Yeah! There's a lot of people right now are panic buying after the news came out earlier.
- Come on! Let's go buy all the things that we need before it run out of stocks!
- At the start of the Coronavirus disease 2019 outbreak in our country, the market ran out of stocks of alcohol and face mask as many consumers were panic buying and some were buying bulk and resell it for a higher price.
- So, the result was the huge demand of consumers for alcohol and facemasks when there is a shortage of supplies.
