- You are not permitted to march on theses streets your march will be cancelled
- This is when black people tried to vote. They were denied their basic rights.
- This was the speech that Martin Luther King Jr said before marching. The famous speech is called How Long, Not Long. This speech was a pep rally and to get the people marching ready.
- First time voting
- This is one of two times where they have tried to mach and got stopped. This was the time the cops stopped them. The goal of marching was to cross the bridge to get to the Alabama capital.

- This is the second time when the governor stopped them from marching. the governor Governor George Wallace goal was to stop the march from taking place and happening.
- This is the third attempt at marching and it worked . This march then lead to black people getting their rights. They successfully crossed the bridge and got the the state capital.
- This is when black people got their right to vote. They no longer had to take a test to vote.
