- Hazel is a girl who had cancer, Her mother decided she was despressed. She was feared of death.

- Hazel's mother decided to send her to Supporting Group. A boy named Augustus looked at Hazel throughout the whole session. A teacher named Patrick prayed for them.
- My name is Hazel. I’m sixteen. Thyroid with mets in my lungs. I’m okay.”

- Hazel was inspired by a writer called Van Hout She looked forward to his replied everyday. One day morning,Van Houten replied her and invited her to visit him in Amsterdam.

- Augustus fell in love with Hazel , he decided to travel with her to Amsterdam even through he had cancer. When they arrived, they found out that Van Houten was a mean-spirited alcoholic. They were hurt deeply.
- Yeah! I would love to visit different countries with you, my love.

- Unluckily Augustus cancer had returned. He couln't stand anymore All his family members attended his funeral. Hazel had hard times, she tried to stay calm
