- Lady Macbeth is sleep walking around the castle and while she admits the evil deeds she has committed. The doctor and the gentlewoman witness it and the doctor says that no doctor can help her, only a priest.

- Act 5 Scene 2 and 3

- Near Birnam wood shall we well meet them.
- Make we our march towards Birnam
- Menteith, Angus, Caithness, and Lenox meet and talks about their strategy for the battle that is about to happen. They talk about meeting up with Malcolm. The servant tells Macbeth that the trees are moving. He freaks out the doctor tells Macbeth that he can't help Lady Macbeth.

- Act 5 Scene 4
- Let every soldier new him down a bough and bear't before him.
- We learn no other but the confident tyrant keeps still in Dunsinane.
- Malcolm, Macduff, Siward, and the other march toward Macbeth and hold branches to themselves. This fulfills the apparition of the young boy holding a tree, and when it says that Macbeth won't be defeated until they march over Birnham wood.

- Act 5 Scene 5
- The Queen my lord is dead
- She should have died here after.
- Lady Macbeth kills herself and when Macbeth learns he is unfazed and says she did it at an unconvinient time.

- Act 5 Scene 6 7
- Either thou, Macbeth, or else my sword, with an unbettered edge, I sheathe again undeeded.
- They have tied me to a stake: I cann't fly.
- Macbeth kills the Young Siward. Macduff then enters challenging him to fight.

- Act 5 Scene 8
- Hail king of Scotland
- Macduff kills Macbeth and holds his head in victory.
