- The beginning of the film takes place in a lab in Geneva, Switzerland during the 18th century. Here Dr. Frankenstein creates a creature that he later rejects due to not being intelligent this causes the monster to become upset.
- Falling Action
- After having been rejected by his creator the monster goes on a destructive and violent rampage. He causes terror in the citizens and worries the doctor.
- Resolution
- After causing a rampage, the monster flees to the forest and finds the doctor. Here he confronts the doctor telling him how lonely he is. He begs the doctor to make him a friend, but the doctor refuses.
- Dr. Frankenstein frantically searches for the monster in the arctic causing him to be delirious and faint. The doctor is rescued by Sir Robert Walton and brought back to his office there the doctor is found by his monster.
- The monster finds Dr. Frankenstein and wishes to apologize for all the things he has done he says that he will no longer be a burden to the doctor.
