He went outside of the castle walls to meet with his mentor as they had agreed the day before but then his blood turned cold. He stared in disbelief and yelled "NO" as he saw the man clad in crimson armor smile as he plunged a sword into his mentor's heart.
Bartholomew felt hopeless and believed even if he tried he couldn't defeat the crimson knight. He cried as he thought "I am sorry I was not fast enough to save you". The only emotion stronger than his despair was his pure hatred for the knight who killed his mentor, and that rage overtook him.
As he trained against the wooden mannequin he glanced at the grave of his mentor. He then remembered the night he saw the man who killed his master, he envisioned the dummy as the crimson knight. He was overtaken with rage as he exclaimed "I will avenge my master and decapitated the dummy as he envisioned killing the knight.
