- Maleficent feels betrayed and abandoned by King Stefan. She feels like a piece is missing from her because he cut her wings off. This is the start of Maleficent hatred for King Stefan and his family.
- How could he do this to me?! I've known him since we were children. I thought we were in love!
- Now knowing her background story we know that Maleficent is only doing this to Aurora to hurt her father because he hurt her.
- On her 16th birthday Aurora will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die! The only way to break the curse is with true love's kiss!
- Maleficent's true loves kiss is what awoke Aurora! Maleficent finally received her wings back and lived the rest of her life in peace.
- It was my kiss that awoke her? I feel....happy
