- hello!welcome to my presentation today i will be talking about ghost stories of ancient china.
- The first step was ones's funeral
- if this was not done right the soul of the dead world return to hunt the living.
- people had to mourn the deaths of there parents or grandparents for at lest 3 years. but they had rules. they could not attend parties or listen to music they just had to wear special clothing. if they broke any of these rules the soul of the dead would return to earth
- and there is a famous Ghost called the hungry Ghosts. The hungry ghost can transform into people but they have tiny mouths but BIG stomachs they go asking for food and if you don't have any they will cruse you and your loved ones.

- There is a thing called the Ghost month . but there are so many rules to keep in mind during the Ghost month. you can't sit in the front rows of the theater becaues those are the seats of the Ghost's want . you can not place a shoe facing the bed because the ghosts will take it as an invitation to sleep there. and you can't stay out to late or a gost will follow you home. and when the festival ends people light up lanters to let the gost 's know that there time of visting is over. and people place the lanterns on the water the ghost"s follow it back home to the afterlife and when the lantern goes out it means it has reached the other side and they can't haunt the wourld.
