- Good morning class! Today, we are going to go over and practice some lab safety rules.
- Lab Safety Rules: 1. Follow all instructions from teacher2. No eating or drinking3. Wash your hands before and after experiments
- The first rule is pretty simple and self explanatory, but it is the most important. Just follow what I say.
- The next rule is no eating or drinking in the lab. I want you all to practice this by putting away all of your food and drinks.

- Ugh, I didn't get to eat breakfast yet and I wanted to eat this banana in class, but I guess I'll have to wait until recess to eat

- The students do as they're told and put away their food and drinks
- The last rule on our list is to wash our hands before and after experiments. To practice this rules, let's go to the bathroom to wash our hands.
