- June 17th 1775
- the British were at the bottom of the hill and the patriots were at the top of the hill so as u could tell they had a easy advantage but then the patriots ran out of ammunition and were forced to abandon their redoubt
- The battle of bunker hill was the first major battle. it was technically a win for britain, but somewhat of a win for the patriots
- because it took the British 3 tries to get too the hill and the only reason why it worked the 3rd time was because the patriots ran out of ammunition
