  • Back to back facts.
  • Most doctors say CTE is a long battle with oneself. "Experts also believe that CTE symptoms appear in two forms. In early life between the late 20s and early 30s, the first form of CTE may cause mental health and behavioral issues. Symptoms of this form include depression, anxiety, impulsive behavior and aggression. The second form of CTE is thought to cause symptoms later in life, around age 60. These symptoms include memory and thinking problems that are likely to progress to dementia."

  • Football is a lifelong commitment that every player should be aware of studies have shown the many risks of the sport. As seen in a scholarly article by Rebecca Mennecke “A 2015 study found that in the autopsies of 202 former football players, 99 percent of those who played in the NFL had Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, commonly known as CTE” (Mennecke, para. 2). After looking at these facts we can clearly see that there is a problem in the NFL and that their needs to be a call to action for the safety of all levels of athletes.
