- White Water Rafting
- One day, my parents surprised my little sister and I with an impromptu trip to go white water rafting. We were slightly nervous on the car ride there. It was also a very long ride and out bodies became slightly uncomfortable.
- The car ride lasted about 4 hours and everyone in the car was getting restless. Then, my mother, father, sister and I all saw the sign that our destination was arriving soon.
- We followed signs that led us down dirt roads and towards a forest, which we presumed the river would be further inside of. My sister's anticipation and I's was building.
- As soon as we arrived, they put my family and I into a raft and sent us down the river. It was pretty smooth at first, but we were told to hang on because the water would not stay calm for long.
- Down the river we went, getting seemingly more and more rough as the water took us. Then suddenly, we heard an odd sound in the distance approaching. It was a very loud rushing water sound that kept growing louder and louder.
- Before we knew it, we were heading down a waterfall! Luckily it was not a tall or dangerous one so no one was injured. It was quite the wild ride and an interesting family adventure!
