- A wealthy man in a certain town had two pets that were devoted to him: a dog and a cat. The dog lost his teeth and is unable to fight, but he was a loyal friend to the intelligent and powerful cat.
- CLIMAX
- The master frequently sent the pets, along with gifts, to the daughter who attended a convent school close to the house. He once instructed the faithful animals to bring his daughter a magic ring. He ordered the dog to accompany the cat as the cat carried the magic ring. They committed to doing their best and got going.
- FALLING ACTION
- Everything went smoothly up until they reached a river. There is just one option for crossing: swim, as there is neither a bridge nor a boat. Given that he could swim, the dog asked the cat to give him the ring. The dog threatened to kill her if the cat continued to refuse, so she gave in.
- RESOLUTION
- Just before they reached the other bank, the dog lost the ring. They looked everywhere but couldn't find it, so they eventually turned around to go back and notify their master about the tragic loss. However, before they arrived at the house, the dog became frightened, fled, and never seen again.
- The master noticed the cat returning alone and wondered as to why she had returned so quickly and what had become of her buddy. The cat was afraid, but she explained how the ring vanished and the dog fled. The dog's master was so furious that he gave the order to look for it and punish it by having its tail cut off.
- He gave the directive that all the dogs join the search. Since that time, whenever the dogs meet, they wag their tails and flash their teeth to demonstrate that they are not the guilty dog.
