- Abigail: uncle, we did dance; let you tell them i confessed it and I'll be whipped if i must be. But they're speaking of witchcraft. Bettys not witched
- In this scene Betty is sleeping and trying to make it seem like she is unconscious while Mr. Parris is talking to abilgal, trying to figure out what caused his daughter to end up this way and if it was caused by witchcraft.
- Glisser: 2
- Parris: you must confess yourself or i will take you out and whip you to death, Tituba
- Tituba: No, no dong hang Tituba! I tell him I don't desire to work for him sir.
- Mr. Parris and Reverend Hale are questioning Tituba about what actually happened in the woods that night that would've led to Betting being unconscious.
- Glisser: 3
- Parris: Rushes over to bettyr. Is she okay??
- Someone under them starts singing which then makes Betty start weeping and making noise which then causes Mr.Parris rushe to her to make sure she's okay.
