  • Sociology is the study of the functioning or evolution of human societies. Sociologists would look at this issue by looking over comparative analysis and quantitative surveys mainly.
  • The main factor that sociologists will look at is communications and technology. Globalisation has definitely affected how humans communicate with each other, especially when it comes to digital globalisation, specifically social media since it is the main thing people rely on and is the most frequent form of globalisation since it affects how people perceive the world, and overall it is adding to psychological factors as well. Communication is something that links society together, as it is what causes society to behave in a certain way.
  • Sociologists will look at factors such as the impacts of foreign goods and services. Products such as food, clothes, and technology are constantly coming into countries, and they tend to show cultural aspects of communities. For instance, back to looking at the manga, the book will definitely contain certain things about Japanese culture and aspects that will be influential on the person reading it, especially when it is something that the reader likes. Especially if products become famous and more frequent in society, it can affect how society behaves as a whole and their own norms and values.

  • Positivism is a type of macro sociology which definitely is prevalent because of digital globalisation since it makes society’s behaviour easy to be influenced by individuals. For instance, communicating through text, email, or phone has caused humans to be reliant on their technology, resulting in changes to their lives such as people being on their phones all the time and daily work being online for many. It is how people these days create their own social world, a sociological term known as phenomenology, a micro sociologists term.
  • Robert Stebbins, an American researcher who looked over postism and said that it is a way people organise their lives such that those lives become, in combination, substantially rewarding, satisfying, and fulfilling, which is how I think french philosopher Auguste Comte would look at globalisationin a sociologist point of view.

  • Sociologists could also approach it and use it as a factor of socioeconomic status. It is when you compare someone's social and economic status to compare others capabilities such as education, income and family. It is used to show differences and separations in society as a whole. Because of this, it leads to not inequality in society, but somewhat certain ideas and aspects in other countries.
