A solid in geometry is a three-dimensional figure. Spheres, prisms, pyramids, cones, and cylinders are examples of solids.
The side of a polygon is any of the line segments that make up the polygon.
The vertex of a polygon is the point where two or more segments meet. On a solid figure, the vertex is the point where three or more edges meet.
