A Presentation was given - trainer asked lots of questions to get all trainees involved, information about subject matter was given
We have time to do some work book activities and ask any questions we may have from the presentation.
We then got given a partner for a discussion - everyone was paired up with someone with different background in the railway so we all had different views on what and how a possession is taken and the effects it has on that department. we were asked to plan taking a possession and what consideration we had to take.
we were ask to build using lego blocks how we think the possession would run and to create a list of things we would have to consider before the possession would run and then to present them to the group
We went on to a heritage railway and play out different parts of the possession and try out different roles involved in taking a possession
We discuss about being out on track and how what we learnt in the classroom plays a part in real track operations.
