  • In this scene, most of the towns people would get sick and end up dying before there was even a cure because of the common diseases which are Bubonic Plague, Fleas, Cholera, scarlet fever,and measles. Doctors would practice using herbal, prayer, leeches, or magic. The Jews were blamed for poisoning wells.
  • In medieval Europe, it was dangerous because of thieves and pickpockets. Two methods to prove someone was guilt or innocent was Trial by ordeal or Trail by combat. The penalties for stealing were that you had have to be fines, stocks, hanged, or burned at the steak. The way in which those accused of crimes were treated begin to improve in the 12th century was court inquiries were used to determine a person’s innocence or guilt.

  • In medieval times, homes were small, crowded, and made of wood. The were the homes of most town dwellers uncomfortable because it was cold, smokey, and dim.
