- Its time for us Cubans to take back our country.
- Today the 26th of July 1953 marks the beginning of our revolution
- To overthrow our corrupt president Batista
- On July 26 1953 the revolutionaries attack the Moncada barricades.The attack was first of many that led to Batista fleeing the country and the revolutionaries seizing Santa Clara and Santiago De Cuba .
- For communist Cuba !!!!
- Cuba is saved
- Our government will be a communist government, the first and only in the western hemisphere
- Today January 1 1959 Cuba's revolution has ended
- After the revolution the new communist state Cuba built close relationships with the Soviet union.Cuba depended on them for military, economic, and political support .
- President Dwight Howard began to plan for an invasion of Cuba,to get rid of the communist government.
- We can't have a communist government so close to us.We have to get rid of them.
- we already but trade restrictions on them, what else can we do
- The united states was afraid that if one government turned communist than other would be influence to become one too( the domino affect)
- Might I suggest an invasion, to make Cuba a democratic government again.
- On April 17,1961 the United States invaded Cuba.The invasion was named "Bay of Pigs",the invasion ended with a 3 day defeat of United states
- With the win over United States Cuba was able to stay a communist country
