- Melody and harmony. The number and interaction of these layers within a musical piece creates the musical texture
- Yes , there are four: monophony is one melody no harmony, homophony is one melody with harmony, polyphony is two or more melodies and harmony is optional , and heterophony is one melody + a different version of that melody and harmony is optional
- Are there many types of Musical Textures ?
- Why do you consider it is important to learn musical concepts?
- Because It helps you to finally understand why things sound good to our ears !! haha
