- By the age of 10 Joey's parents began to realize that his memory was incredible. They realized this because he was able to associate dates with what day of the week they were, and perfectly recall what happened on that day.
- June 20th? that was a Monday!
- For most of his early life joey just assumed that it was gonna be a cool party trick but not much else, and that it was something that lots of people have and that it didn't really make him that special.
- Yeah i mean i can remember what day of the week it was if you tell me a date!
- When Joey began to realize that his memory was more than a party trick was during a road trip when he heard on a radio station that someone was interviewing people that were very similar to joey, those with super memory.
- After meeting with the radio show host he learnt a lot more abotu his condition and about how rare it really is.
- As Jeoy grew up, he realized that the negatives of this ability are very impactful. One negative he sadly learnt all too well was that when you don't forget experiences, you remember sadness forever and hold onto grudges and bad experiences for much longer than normal people.
