- The battle of Lexington and Concord took place outside of Boston on April 19, 1775. This was the first battle of the American Revolution.

- The battle of Saratoga was fought in Fall of 1777 in the upstate of New York. The British lost really bad due to the forest and the continental army won this battle. In this France becomes an ally with the Americans. This was a major turning point for the war.

- The Battle of Cowpens gave the Americans a lot of confidence and help them win the war. They won this war by using a great plan with the Continental army.

- During the Battle of Guilford the British won. But they also lost lost of soldiers. This battle was in Greensboro, NC.

- Well this is good and bad because we lost a quarter of are troops but at least we won.
- During the Battle of Yorktown the French helped the Colonist by bringing supply ships and blocking the British. This forced them to surrender and the Americans won the war.
