- In a quiet village nestled among rolling hills, there lived a young and curious woman named Maya. She spent her days tending to the crops and caring for her family, but she felt an emptiness within her. She longed to understand the purpose of life.
- Ugh, everyday is the same. What is the purpose of all of this? Why are we here?
- One day, while exploring the nearby forest, Maya stumbled upon a hidden library. Inside, she discovered a book by the renowned historian Yuval Noah Harari. As she read, she became captivated by his ideas on religion. Harari argued that the purpose of religion was to provide a framework for humans to make sense of the world, find meaning, and create a sense of belonging.
- Woah, isn't this written by Yuval Noah Harari? Woah...so the purpose of religion is to guide people and provide human beings with a framework for life.
- So religion can be used to help humans establish moral values, ethical guidance, and create a sense of belonging...absoloutely fascinating! Super cool! I really want to learn more about this!
- So my religion is blablabla, and I also think that religion helps me find purpose, and stay on a rightful path to become a good person that will be able to reincarnate. I strive to become the best version of myself, and my religion has taught me how.
- Maya decided to embark on a journey to learn more about different religions and their purposes. She set out on a quest to meet people from various faiths and explore their beliefs. Her journey took her to temples, churches, mosques, and synagogues, where she engaged in thoughtful conversations with priests, pastors, imams, and rabbis.
- So my religion is about blablabla, the central concepts and beliefs are blablabla, and I love my community and I enjoy meeting people that share the same beliefs. Religion helps me feel like I belong.
