- It was a place where black families could live in peace and enjoy great wealth
- This is Greenwood on May 31, 1921

- From May 31- June 1, 1921 Greenwood was up in flames because of white mobs
- Hundreds of black citizens were killed or injured. Thousands were left homeless and the survivors were traumatized
- This is black wall street after. Homes and businesses were burned to the ground
