- The Next Morning Ali and Hassan went grocery shopping.
- THIRTY MINUTES LATER
- Ali can I speak to you privately.
- Hassan headed to the hut remaining in wonder.
- Ali: yes Baba?Baba: Please come by my office with Hassan in a bit.
- Why did Baba look so serious? What happened? There talking for more then usual.
- WHAT IS THIS UNDER MY BED?!
- Hassan had remembered he had left something under his mattress yet he found something else...
- Why would Baba want to see us? What did Hassan do now?
- Father, I have to tell you something.
- What is wrong? Talk to me.
- I was raped father. I saw Amir watch what Assef did to me
- why my son? why my poor son?
- An hour later Amir was sitting in a leather couch
- A few minutes after Amir's arrival came Hassan, Ali and Baba
- Did you steal that money? Did you steal Amir's watch?
- *thin, raspy voice*Yes.
- Baba had forgiven Hassan for such a crime but they couldn't stay no more.
- I forgive you.
- We are leaving. Will you drive us to the bus station?
- I beg you please stay!

- Ali and Hassan were already packed. Therefore, proceeded with the box to the car.
