  • These breeds come from the amphibian class.
  • In the wacko forest, there are multiple variations among the 2 snake breeds living here. One breed is the checkered snecker, and the other is a plain black snake. The snecker is skinnier in width, much faster, and is flame retardant.
  • The diets of these organisms consist of warm-blooded small animals, like rodents and birds.
  • Since the snecker is very fast, it can easily catch its pretty quickly. The black snakes are slow, which enables the prey to outrun them. The black snakes are fatter, slower, and have regular snake skin.
  •
  • One day, the wacko forest started to see forest fires- that were frequently happening! These consistent forest fires were capable of destroying a sufficient amount of the environment: including the vegetation and animal life.
  • To the prey population's benefit, alot of the prey still remained. After the fires, the black snake breed population was slowly dying out... but the snecker still lived.
  • Considering the black snakes' traits, the snecker population was able to survive with their flame retardant ability through their checkered skin, and their fast speeds to find cover, despite the wildfires rapidly spreading. Their shape allowed for easy mobility, and the skin for temperature regulation.
  • Since the sneckers survived better, there were more of them alive. Sneckers reproduced, and became more common since they passed down their genes to their offspring, creating snakes with better adaptations to the environment, compared to the black snakes.
  • Eventually, only the sneckers survived in the forest since they were the best adapted to the environment. The black snakes died in flames. Now, the good traits are passed down from the sneckers, to their offspring, showing natural selection and evolution in the snake breed.
