- When starting the pre-production of a film, you have to make some documents.
- You start with a script, then, a shot sheet and a budget.
- You might do a site survey or go look around to find a place to set your film and shoot.
- You might make a storyboard in pre-production as well. This will help you visualize scenes and actions.
- You'll want to write appropriate dialogue for your characters in your script. Then, share it with your actors so they can be prepared for production.
- And remember, you'll want to put most of your time and energy into the pre-production of your film. Think of the 70-10-30 rule.
