- So many rich people have bought our lands and made our lives harder. It is difficult manage a big farm and produce. I am going to the city to look for new easier job
- Before the Industrial Revolution, agriculture was the main way of earning money. But there was a population growth which led to food shortage. Therefore, farmers began using machines to grow more food. Rich people started buying more land making bigger farms, which made farmers jobs and lives difficult. Since farming Became harder, they moved to cities to look for new jobs. The new jobs they had were mainly in factories. Workers started using new machinery that they didn’t use in farming. Agriculture started to disappear because more factories were made. Men no longer worked at home as they left their farms in the country. Women who used to stay home had to come out to work and children were forced into labor to earn very little money.During the Industrial Revolution, people started work in factories.The work environment was cramped causing poor ventilation. In factories people were exposed to toxic chemicals. Working in factories spreads diseases such as smallpox, typhus and tuberculosis. Machines also cause trauma injuries.
- I have gotten hurt so many times because the machinery is in tight places. The working hours are too long.
- Help me! I am forced to work in a factory.
