Turtle Bayou Resolution
We also no longer want to be apart of a Central Government.
Several colonists and I want to declare loyalty to Mexico, and we will no longer give Mexican authorities trouble.

The Arrest of Stephen F. Austin
We believe Stephen F. Austin is hereby guilty
NO!!!!!!!!!!!
The 1st Anahuac was when Americans following the Mexican law, and following the Mexican government didn't want to pay their taxes
The 2nd Anahuac
I don't believe Mexico should be the one who decides what we pay taxes on. Why should we pay more on imported goods
We Agree!
Colonists were declaring loyalty to Mexico, and no longer bickered with Mexican authorities. Colonists also no longer wanted to be a part of the Central Government.
Stephen F. Austin went down to Mexico, and he didn't like what he saw from Santa Anna. On his way back to Texas he wrote a letter to some of his settlers about Santa Anna, and was later arrested as a result.
Colonists were already upset with the Mexican government then the Mexican government made Texas pay taxes on foreign imported goods. The colonists on the other hand didn't believe that was fair.
