  • This story is about a girl by the name of Kit Byrne and her family trying to survive the great hunger and those who stand in there way from freedom.

  • The protagonist of this story is Kit Byrne and the antagonist is Mr. Lynch. The side characters are Kit's father (Da), Kit's mother (Mam), and Kit's little brother (Jack).

  • Jack did you read "Greener Grass" yet?
  • This story is from the perspective of Kit Byrne the protagonist of this story, therefore this story is in first person perspective. However Kit is tell this story after all the events of the plot had happened

  • I am going to be just like Kit from "Greener Grass and defend myself!
  • The theme of this story is based of the phrase "Greener Grass". This refers to how someone's situation may seem "perfect" to an outsiders perspective, yet it truthfully may not be a good situation.

  •  This book's audience is meant for teenagers who may or may not have an understand of "The Great Hunger". As well it is for teenagers who can handle much darker concepts . The Authors writing style is very narrative focus style .

  • Ya I did I loved the book and the Author's narrative style of writing.
  • This book has lots of lessons for teenagers on how to behave and the consequences of your actions. Applying lessons that are taught to Kit in the book in real life , is a good way to both defend and understand yourself.
