When I was 12 years old, we had an accident on the road, we went to the beach and on the way back a trailer hit us in the back.
the blow was very strong so they had to take us to the hospital, being there only I had surgery since my leg was shattered.
since we arrived the doctor told my family that I would be fine, that I still could not leave the hospital due to other fractures and that I preferred to be kept under observation.
some time later I had to have another knee operation and I have been undergoing rehabilitation for more than 3 years now.
some time later I started doing gymnastics and with my leg 100% recovered I went through several tests until I was selected and competed and won 6 medals.
After a long time I am still very afraid to go out on the roads or to see trailers I feel that accidents can happen at any moment even though I have taken therapy the fear is still here.
today I enjoy doing what I like to do having my leg and teaching yoga classes has been a long process but it is not forever.
With the help of my family I have been overcoming my fear and even though I have had more serious situations since then, that accident will continue to be my greatest fear, I was one second away from dying.
