  • . ¨Mental disorders interfere with a person's ability to think, feel, function, express moods, emotions, and relate to other people. They have a huge impact on anyone´s daily life, one common disorder widespread is depression. Depression is an illness that causes sadness or lost of interest for long periods of time. With mental illnesses causing issues in many aspects, it can alter the way someone functions independently¨ (Depression).

  • . In some cases, you may experience guilt, the feeling of being worthless, and may even attempt suicide. Depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, your brain may not be realeasing the right amount of dopamine, which will lead to the lack of enjoyment in daily activities. The alternative to mental disorders is medication and therapy. Although it does aid with feeling normal, some people struggle with the idea that in order to be normal you have to rely on a pill.

  • Having to wake up everyday and face normal challenges is hard enough, and adding a mental disorder on to that wouldn´t make it any easier.

  • . It takes time to start feeling like yourself, but waking up feeling the same everyday and feeling like you have no way out is definetly not going to be easy to go through alone.
