- Grandma can you please tell a story!
- Oh my goodness. Yes! Your stories are always a good one! It will be a great way to pass time while we wait for the water to get fixed.
- I'm happy to hear you enjoy my stories! Well, I guess maybe this time I'll talk about my childhood.
- Ooh! I want to know what it was like 100 years ago!
- HEY! She is not that old!
- Haha! Its alright!

- Growing up my family and I did not have much. My native ancestors would move so often and be forced to relocate to the west as new people from Europe would push us out. So our tribe did not have the best establishment. In other words our neighborhood was poor, was quickly built and was not the best in quality. Still, staying together and making most of what the Europeans allowed us to have, we kept our warrior spirit. We farmed together, we wore our long braids, we had our tribal gatherings, we sang, we danced and we celebrated together.
- Then one day, my mother had taken me to a train. All the other kids from the tribe were already there and no one really told us where we were going.
- It's not too far and you will be back soon.
- I don't want to go! Where are we going?
- A lot of time went by and the train had not stopped. I figured she had lied.We were going somewhere far and we would not be back soon.
