- Andrew Jackson brought an entire other era for history at the time he was know as the president of the common people after loosing the election in 1824, but then won another presidential election and was president.

- That is a very smart observation you’ve made. I’d like to add another great women of the past Dorothea Dix. She made a great impact on the present day because she led the campaigns for prison reform and she helped find a better treatment for mental illness.
- If it weren’t for her many people would have the mindset that mental illness is incurable but she made it clear that there are ways to help someone with a mental illness.
