- SOLID
- Hello! I am a particle. Right now I am a solid, ice! My temperature is usually around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. My fellow particles are very close together, we are practically hugging! We are still in motion, because there is so little kinetic energy!
- I'm right here!
- LIQUID
- Oh no! I melted into a liquid! The temperature must have risen past 32 degrees Fahrenheit. My companions are gliding past me! There isn't enough kinetic energy for us to stick together anymore..
- AHH! I floated down stream & this lady put me in her kettle! I'm BOILING AWAY! The water is already at 212 degrees Fahrenheit, I'm turning into a gas! So are some of my pals! Oh no!
- GAS
- What's this? Wow I can't believe it! I've been reborn! Sigh, and the cycle repeats.From a solid, liquid, to a gas. I've been through them all.
