The ghost of christmas present next takes him to his nephew's party where Scrooge's niece (by marriage) and the other guests
(Scrooge's niece's sisters and Fred's friend Topher, who likes one of the sisters.) laugh at scrooge as his nephew, Fred tells them about his visit to him the previous evening. Scrooge enjoys the games they play at the party and begs the ghost to stay a bit more.
Glisser: 2
The ghost of christmas present takes scrooge through the streets of London and to Bob Cratchit's, his clerk's, house. There he sees his clerk's family and his disabled son, Tiny Tim. He asks the spirit whether Tiny Tim will live or not and the spirit says he won't if the future remains unaltered meanwhile, the Cratchits toast to scrooge.
To scrooge
I see a vacant seat in the chimney-corner, and a crutch without an owner, carefully preserved.
Spirit, tell me if Tiny Tim will live.
The child will die if these shadows remain unaltered.
