- How can he?! He does not have direct claim to the throne! We just got better treatment, who knows what will happen to us Catholics if that Protestant William becomes King!
- I heard he wants to claim the throne...
- Attention everyone! William of Orange and his forces have been spotted at Brixham in Devon. They are believed to be going to Torbay in Devon.
- Have you heard the news brother? People say he was invited to come and take the throne. Why would they do that! Do they want to go back to the bloody mess of civil war!!
- Apparently the former bishop of London and the duke of Marlborough support William. Don't they know this whole dilemma can lead to civil war!
- It's still risky though...
- Finally, now that William of Orange is here, we can change start taking action!
- King James II only wants to increase his power of the monarchy, favors Catholics by giving them positions of power within politics and the military and wants to even rule without parliament. William on the other hand promised to maintain Protestant religion, to call a free parliament, which would not be banned for discussing any political issues, and from which he would take advice before raising taxes and passing laws. He will be a much better leader for us.
- I can't believe, that I , the King, has to flee from the city to France. I am not sure if he invading or invited but being invited is more likely regarding me being unpopular but I can't believe they wanted to get rid of me so badly that they would humiliate my wife and gossip about my son! I am already suffering from nose bleeds. Argh! That's it later I'm going to throw the Royal Seal into the River Thames later on.
- I'm going to be King now. I will rule with my wife, Mary II of England.
