- Harker tries to open some doors to get out of the castle, only to find that all the doors to the outside are locked, making Harker a prisoner in Dracula's castle. Meanwhile, Dracula is nowhere to be found in the castle.

- Jonathan Harker, an English journalist visiting Romania for a business trip. Whilst he is in Romania, he is staying at the Count Dracula’s castle for a couple of weeks.

- A mysterious ship rolls in to England after a gnarly storm, and on it are several dead bodies, and what appeared to be the dead body of the captain of the boat tied to the wheel with a crucifix in hand. The only cargo on the boat are some boxes and a large black dog who ran out into the countryside when the boat came to shore. Meanwhile Harker's fiancee, Mina starts to worry about him and her best friend Lucy who has been sleepwalking and acting very strange lately.
- Resolution
- Meanwhile back in England, Mina wakes up in the middle of the night to see that Lucy isn't in her bed! Mina looks outside in the churchyard and sees a shadowy figure bent over Lucy with his mouth on her neck! Scared to death, Mina goes back to bed and in the morning finds Lucy back in her bed. Mina notices that Lucy has 2 small wounds on her neck that look like they could be bite marks...
- Jonathan arrives back in England after escaping from Dracula's castle. You also meet Van Helsing (middle) and Dr. Seward (left). Those two men played a very big part in the book. The three men figure out that Dracula needs to sleep in boxes filled with soil from Transylvania in order to recharge. Meanwhile, Lucy has been extremely sick and has been acting very drained and has been needing blood transfusions.
- Lucy turns out to be a vampire and helps Dracula. Seward, Van Helsing, and Lucy's Fiancee, Arthur Holmwood go find Dracula and Lucy, after killing more vampires and finding more of Dracula's boxes, the 3 destroy Dracula, causing him to disintegrate, causing both him and Lucy to die. At the end of the book, Mina and Jonathan get married, and then the book ends.
