- Why do you have your swords drawn?

- Act 1 scene ii - Ariel thanks Prospero for saving him from the witch's spell. He also says that he will do Prospero's bidding
- Act ii scene 1- Sebastian and Antonio have their swords drawn because they were planning to kill Alonso and Gonzalo, but Ariel woke them up from their sleep so Prospero's plan would still work and they would not be killed. They ask them why they have their swords drawn but they made up an excuse and said they thought they heard lions and they were protecting the king.
- Act iii, scene 2- Miranda says that she will be Ferdinand's wife if he will marry her and if not she will die his maid, while he is doing work for Prospero. She also offers to be his servant. Before Miranda said that Ferdinand confessed his love and devotion for her.
