- Titles of books, magazines, poems, movies or newspapers are singular even when contain plural forms
- Friends is the best sitcom ever, but The Sopranos is even better. Friends es la mejor comedia de la historia, peroLos Sopranos es mejor.
- Everybody is going to see the game tonight.Todos y todas vamos a ver el juego esta noche.
- Singular indefinite pronouns are followed by singular verbs.
- Plural indefinitive pronouns (Both, few. many, several, others) are followed by plural verbs.Both enjoy the movie, others hate it.Ambos disfrutan de la película, otros la odian.
- If the headnoun of the subject is singular, the speaker or writter should ignore all plural forms in intervening prepositional phrases and other expresions.
- That crazy kid, as well as us, is dancing all of the reggae songs.Ese niño loco, al igual que nosotros, baila todas las canciones de reggae.
- No matter how two plural nouns are joined, they are always followed by a plural verb.Oranges and carrots are too expensive today. Las naranjas y zanahorias están muy caras hoy.
