- Today, we're gonna talk about the importance of reproduction in living things. But before that, we must know first what is reproduction and living things.
- The earth is inhabited by a wide variety of living things -- from the smallest bacteria to the biggest animal. Organisms perpetuate through reproduction and each organism is part of a reproductive continuum that goes back countless generations.

- Living Things are organisms that have life, are alive, and have the ability to eat, grow, respire, reproduce, obtain and use energy. Birds, insects, animals, trees, human beings, are a few examples of living things as they have the same characteristic features, like eating, breathing, reproduction, growth, and development, etc.

- While, reproduction is the process by which a living being gives rise to young ones. Reproduction means to reproduce. It is a biological process by which an organism reproduces an offspring who is biologically similar to the organism. Reproduction enables and ensures the continuity of species, generation after generation.
