  • So, this is my friend wang.
  • Hi guys, how are you, I'm Wang, I'm gonna talk to you about China, my beautiful country.
  • As you know i have an important work dinner next week, and because my boss is Chinese, the dinner will take place in China, and I don't wanna be clueless once i'm there, also I don't wanna disrespect them in any way, so this vlog is also for you guys, if you are ever gonna visit China and you wanna be prepared.
  • Well, that's interesting, but what i am worried about is the food, I really don't know what to order.
  • Okay, first, seating arrangements, the best seat is that on the left, east and facing the gate, and it's arranged for the main guest, or in this case your boss, so don't sit there.
  • Okay, good, but what about some tips for the table manners in China?
  • The most popular dishes are fried spring rolls, dumplings, large meatballs, and spicy diced chicken with peanuts, they are all nice and I really recommend you try them out.
  • It's not that hard, just be graceful and polite when taking food with chopsticks, don’t make much noise when eating or drinking soup, don’t talk when there is food on your mouth and don’t point someone with chopsticks or play with them.
  • And finally, when you are done eating it's important to show your appreciation to the host, if you have to leave halfway; you should explain the situation and apologize.
