- The castle represents the first line of defense against the pathogen, like skin and mucous membrane. The evil witch- Pathogen Penelope is determined to get into the castle...
- Pathogen Penelope makes it past the barrier and has officially entered the castle (cell).
- Pathogen Penelope is faced by the second line of defense, consisting of white blood cells called leukocytes, nonspecific chemical defenses, inflammation, and fever. Although theses forces are strong enough, they are not strong enough to stop her.
- The third line of defense, the acquired immunity, now kicks in. The body (castle) is able to recognize Pathogen Penelope through her antigens.
- The T cells are able to target and track Pathogen Penelope in order to alert the B cells.
- The plasma B cells are able to make antibodies to defeat the antigens on Pathogen Penelope. The memory B cells are able to remember Pathogen Penelope in case she tries to strike again, this way the castle and it's guards will be ready. Pathogen Penelope is defeated and everyone in the castle lived happily ever after. The End
