- It was an ordinary morning. I woke up super early as usual and went on with my morning routine. I made my bed, brushed my teeth, got dressed and packed my bag. I then headed downstairs for breakfast. and headed off to school I liked going to school. I liked seeing my classmates and spending time with my friends .
- The day before my teacher told us that we would be starting a new project and to do a bit of research about the topics she gives us.normally our teacher let the students choose their own groups but for this project she decided to choose for us. As my teacher started calling out names and groups I realized that I probably won't be with my friends as she put them in the same group and went on to the next group.
- why are they being so mean :(

- As she was calling out the next group I heard my name “Wiktoria you are in group 6 you and your group will be working in the other room. I got up and headed to my groups designated area. as I was walking towards the room I realized I was placed in a group with three guys from my class. I didn't really mind. We were given a good topic and told to start working.
- we could have similar ideas but you guys aren't letting me speak

- none of you even bothered to listen to my ideas

- The guys all sat around a table as I went to get markers, paper and iPads so we could begin our assignment and do more research.As i got back to the table the boys were on their phones and talking to each other. I set the things down and began to start talking about the project and giving ideas for our poster. A few moments later I realized that they were all ignoring me. “Are we going to start the project? ” i asked “ we've already started” said one of the boys. "but yo guys keep ignoring me"
- hey guys ! you ready to start our project
- “ yeah thats because girls are stupid and we dont listen to stupid girl’s ideas said another boy. I sat in silence staring at the boy. He didn't seem to care about how I felt as he went right back on his phone. “Shouldn't you be in the kitchen? “ smirked another boy. My heart sank. I felt prejudiced because I was a girl. They wouldn't listen to my ideas because they thought i was stupid, for being a girl i felt discriminated, I was being put into a very sexist category. Ive done nothing wrong to these boys, yet they are treating me so poorly
- Girls are stupid
- dumb girl we don't want your help
- “none of you have even bothered to listen to any of my ideas” “if you could all just listen to my ideas maybe you would actually like them and we could get started with this project”said in an almost yelling voice. The guys looked at each other and then put their phones away. I continued explaining my ideas and it turned out that most of them had very similar ideas. In the end they agreed that they were wrong and all apologized for what they said and we finished the project.
