- hmm i wonder what the life of a rock in the rock cycle is like?
- now we start with magma, magma is molten rock that is found under the earths surface, when magma erupts from a volcano it is then called lava.
- Glisser: 2
- after the magma erupts from the earth and becomes lava and that lava will cool to become me a igneous rock!
- after being and igneous rock the rain and wind slowly eroded and weathered me down into tiny pebbles and rocks that we call sediments
- Glisser: 3
- its finally happened i have now become a metamorphic rock, this took me going through even more heat and pressure over millions of years!
- and now we are back at stage one magma, after all that time and all those different types of rocks we always eventually end back up at magma, we get hear by going through such immense heat that the rocks just melt into this red molten substance
- after all that time being little pebbles i slowly got compacted and put under immense pressure whitch then made me into one solid rock again called a sedimentary rock meaning a rock made of sediments!
