- Oh gosh, mom told me to stay away from those type of people.
- Hey kids, meet your new classmate, Josh!
- Are you from China? My dad told me you guys started the COVID pandemic!
- GROSS! Don't come near us, we don't want to get sick.
- Why does everyone have to be this way because of the way I look?
- I wish I was white.
- I didn't even start the pandemic. Why are they so mean to me?
- My family and I have done nothing wrong, why do I feel like an imposter here?
- You guys were very rude to Josh. Just because he's Asian, doesn't mean you can blame him.
- I'm not white and you guys treat me equally. But if people of my color started the pandemic would you guys hate me too?
- Nina was right. Our logic does not make sense. We should apologize.
- Yeah, we can't hate someone because of where they came from. It's just not fair. My mom was wrong to generalize an entire race.
- We're very sorry for being mean to you because of the way you look. It was wrong, made no sense, and you shouldn't feel like an imposter.
