- Prometheus created men out of clay. He made these clay modelings look like gods. He taught them many thing, but to go any further, beyond stones to the use of medals. They needed fire.
- Zeus didn't want to give humans fire, because he feared what men would do if they had fire. Prometheus knew his creation would never advance without fire So he decide to steal a spark from heavenly hearth on Olympus.
- Prometheus stole fire and gave it to the humans. He also showed them howto tame animals, how to plant seed and raise crops and more important things.
- Prometheus tried to convince Zeus about letting humans use fire because it was getting colder and they wouldn't be able to survive. Zeus didn't listen, one day he saw smoke rising from southern Greece and he knew Prometheus disobeyed him.
- Zeus had Prometheus punished he had two servant to take him to a high narrow valley of icy rocks in the rugged mountains of the Caucasus
- Prometheus accepted his destiny and in this way archived a kind of victory. He is, for all generations a legendary rebel against injustice.
